We were
just looking at your Goon Pack photos and discussing our lovely history
with the Goon Bag. You see, in
Australia and New Zealand it is a tradition for teenagers to drink
"goon" the first time they get drunk. (Goon bag being the silver insert
of boxed wine). It is also
quite handy when you need to pass out, you have an instant inflatable
pillow.
There is also a
backyard game we play called 'goon of fortune' where you peg Two goon
bags on either side of a revolving clothes line and all stand around.
You spin the line after chanting 'Goon...Of...Fortune!!!' and when the
line stops spinning the two lucky people with goon bags in front of
them have to get on their knees and skull (chug).
